MITC hosts a number of social events throughout the year. These are ideal opportunities to meet other players and to enjoy the programs that the club has to offer. - Every year, the club hosts a pot-luck dinner at a member’s home in the late falll to kick off the indoor season - just before winter play and team play begin to heat up.
- Throughout the winter, men’s and women’s singles and doubles round-robin tournaments as well as a Junior/Senior tournament take place, culminating in a Spring Pot Luck Social. Members watch their fellow players compeat in the finals of all the tournaments while enjoying food and refreshments.
- Evening socials are hosted by the club randomly throughout the winter. Members gather to play fun tennis with informal rounds of play, interspersed with refreshments and conversation.
- The first Friday of each month usually finds a professional racquet stringer available to re-string racquet. Tennis clothing and shoes are often for sale at these times as well.
- There is a ball machine for practce and individual drills and pros to teach lessons.
